Puddingstone Polished Plate

Puddingstone was originally used to mark prehistoric
tribal meeting places, which were subsequently adopted
as sights for churches. It was said to ward off anything
negative.

This fascinating Polished Puddingstone Plate is a conglomerate
of distinctly round pebbles cemented together by a matrix of
silicon quartz.
